Even from Dubrovnik we are able to offer yachts to discover the southern part of Croatia. If you visit Rovinj, make sure not to forget to visit the beautiful, historc part of the town, which is built upon a mountain . You will walk through small and narrow alleys and have an extraordinary view from the church over the harbour and the city. Around the harbour, which is located directly in the old part of the town, you have an excellent choice of pubs, bars and restaurants. Starting from Rovinj you can sail along the istrian coast to one of the many little preliminary islands - if you want you can sail until you get to Slowenia or Italy. The Kornati-area is a group of islands which includes islands, rocks, reefs and sandbanks and runs parallel in a 11 miles distance to the coastline. Most of the islands are dry and stinted and simply have a gras-coating. The islands only have a few inhabitants and only a few houses can be found there to protect fishers and farmers. The Kornati-Islands were called a National-Park and now there will be built a small number of marinas. Becaus of its central point in the eastern part of the Adriatic-Sea, Split with his cultural and historic background offers an ideal point to start discovering the dalmatian coastline. Also in Split there is a huge number of sights, such as the romain castle, churches, museums. Split is for shure worth a visit!
The main-season is the summertime. Winter, spring and autumn are more likely a mix of the seasons. In this area the change to spring will be around April and May, to winter will be in October. During the summer the average windspeed (2-3) is relatively low in the Adriatic-Sea. Strong winds occure very seldom at that time of the year.
